Today, we used balloons, straws, and other items to attempt to make a "rocket" go up a string and touch the ceiling. After that, we had to redesign it to bring paper clips up! Here are some pictures of this. By: Jamie Today, we had a visitor from Discovery Ed that did an activity. It was during math time, so not all kids are from our class. Breakout Edu is a tool that classroom teachers can use similar to an escape room. Their task was to use clues that they were given to unlock a series of locks. We will we doing more in the future!
By: Jamie Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! We celebrated this fun event with our first socratic seminar. Socratic seminars are student-led discussions- based on Socrates' method of questioning rather than teacher lecture. The kids did an AMAZING job!
